Is it possible to apply to rent to buy some of the 2nd hand School units that are stored/available from Gorey? How does the rental price pan out size etc wise? I am asking because our local primary school in Lucan Village cannot get any grants for expansion, despite its serious lack of sufficient classrooms to accomodate its prospective pupils. It may be possible and, to my mind, very practical, to consider the construction of a tubular stairway and bridge to rise up and over across a high and ‘preserved’ Demesne wall beside the present school. There is a piece of land site that may be made available if both the wall and finance problem could be dealt with satisfactorily to all concerned.
