Modular Buildings

The specification of cabins has improved dramatically over the last decade or so and they have become a real alternative to the cost of building. The units can last nowadays for up to 50 years on the Steel Frame Modular units or 20 or so years on the standard units.

Maccom is geared to meet the needs of organisations seeking quality buildings fast. Off-site, fast-track construction involves a building, or the majority of a building, being manufactured in volumetric modules in our factories using production line techniques and then assembled on-site by our skilled technicians.

Off-site construction is a proven technique that enables many types of buildings to be constructed and brought into operation faster than is possible using conventional methods. Buildings can be steel-framed or timber-framed and with similar architectural and aesthetic values to conventional structures.

We’ve also provided solutions – from two-storey office blocks, hospital treatment centres and clinics to school classrooms and airport terminal buildings – for a wide range of clients.
Whatever the type of building required we have the essential infrastructure, experience and technical expertise to provide the right solution.

Benefits of Off-site construction
Construction time can be reduced by up to 50%
Buildings can be expanded or even relocated easily

Quality control and integrity of fit and finish are guaranteed by our highly controlled manufacturing facilities.
