With comparable life expectancies to traditional methods of construction, Maccom’s off site steel frame systems provide highly adaptable space solutions, combined with architectural flexibility. Manufactured under quality controlled, high volume production lines, the steel frame construction system incorporates volumetric and modular systems.

Steel frame systems offer a greater flexibility in clear span options, in addition to all the general off-site system benefits. Designs can be tailored to a large range of architectural cladding and roof type requirements and the system enables ease of alteration to the external look and internal layout, for any future requirements.

Timber Frame Systems:
Maccom’s off site timber frame systems offer flexible medium-term alternatives to the capital investment and long lead times of the conventional approach to buildings.
Available in two options: as a fully re-locatablebuilding, built on steel chassism with manufacturing completed n the factory, or as a more permanent structure, erected on-site using factory built timber frame components built onto a prepared concrete base.
This is a highly cost effective construction system most suitable for customers with semi-permanent, fast-track space needs.

Stand alone/Hybrid Systems:
The future of sustainable construction lies in the development and integration of hybrid off-ste/traditional designs.
Maccom’s off-site systems are designed to accommodate the use of architectural facades and full range of roofing types and finishes which achieve high architectural values.
